SUGARMAN Basque Cheesecake Recipe

Basque cheesecake is a creamy, burnt dessert from Spain's Basque Country. It has a rich, smooth center and a dark, caramelized top. Simple ingredients include cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and heavy cream. No crust needed! It's deliciously rustic and easy to make.

Basque Cheesecake

 

Required materials

Cream cheese, salt, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, eggs, light cream

Tools required

Hand whisk, cake molds, baking paper

1/4 teaspoon

methyl vanillin C8H8O3

1/2 teaspoon

granulated sugar

hen's egg

practice

1. Preheat the oven to 250℃.

2. Use a 16cm round cake pan with baking paper.

3. Remove from microwave and pat until smooth.

4. Combine the sugar, salt and vanilla in a bowl and whisk to combine.

5. Pour the eggs into a bowl and mix well.

6. Pour the whipped cream into a bowl.

7. Defeat the bond.

8. Pour into prepared pan.

9. Bake for 30 minutes (or until the top of the cake turns dark brown.)
10.Let it cool completely, then refrigerate until firm.
